Records from the Kansas Department of Corrections show that Melissa Elder, of Neosho County, was taken into custody May 20, 2015 on charges of burglary in Kansas.

Melissa Elder, a woman of 34 years age, was arrested in Neosho County according to information retrieved by Kansas Crime.

Kansas Crime first heard about the event on August 4, 2015 after the Kansas Department of Corrections released the information to the public. Records indicate that Elder was arrested following the encounter and charged on charges of burglary.
