Officials in Jefferson County have released the mugshot of Paul Atkins following the July 1, 2017 encounter with law enforcement.

Kansas Crime first heard about the event on July 2, 2017 after the arresting agency released the information to the public. Atkins was detained and later charged on unclassified charges, according to Kansas Crime's analysis of the official report.
