22-year-old of Neosho County booked

Neosho County, Kansas officials have released the name of the suspect from the encounter on March 5, 2014.

Wayne Kirkland, a man of 22 years age, was arrested in Neosho County according to information retrieved by Kansas Crime.

Kansas Crime first heard about the event on May 7, 2015 after the Kansas Department of Corrections released the information to the public. Kirkland was detained and later charged on unclassified charges, according to Kansas Crime's analysis of the official report.

When booked, Mr. Kirkland was described as a white man, 5' 10" tall, 168 lbs, 22 years old, hazel colored eyes, and brown hair. Few additional details have been provided at this time.
