According to the official January 16, 2015 police report, James Mauney appears to have been taken into custody January 16, 2015.

Officials in Osage County, Kansas have decided to not publish suspect James Mauney's mugshot following the January 16, 2015 run-in with local authorities, according to recently released information.

Kansas Crime first heard about the event on May 12, 2015 after the Kansas Department of Corrections released the information to the public. Mauney was detained and later charged on multiple counts, according to Kansas Crime's analysis of the official report.

The official report details Mr. Mauney as a white man, 6' 0" tall, 176 lbs, 56 years old, brown colored eyes, and brown hair. Further details of the arrest are available from the Kansas Department of Corrections at (785) 296-3317.
