Kansas Crime uncovered the full details of the arrest on May 7, 2015, months after the event actually took place. Records indicate that Cheever was arrested following the encounter and charged on multiple counts.

When booked, Mr. Cheever was described as a white man, 5' 11" tall, 201 lbs, 50 years old, blue colored eyes, and blond or strawberry hair. Few additional details were recorded in the report.
